Devils Youth Foundation

The Devils Youth Foundation enriches the lives of New Jersey’s youth by creating life-changing opportunities and inspiring youth in our communities through the power of sports and entertainment.

Project 76

Our employee volunteer program of the 76ers, Project 76 encourages employees to dedicate at least 76 hours of their time each year to deploying into the community and committing to volunteer service.

Devils Learn to Play

In partnership with the NHL, NHLPA, CCM and Pure Hockey, the New Jersey Devils Learn to Play program introduces first time ice hockey participants between the ages of 5-9 to the key fundamentals of our game in a fun and engaging environment. Each participant receives brand new head-to-toe equipment and a minimum 8 weeks of on-ice instruction at participating rink partners throughout the Garden State led by Devils Alumni and certified USA Hockey coaches.

Devils Sweep the Deck Gala

All proceeds from the “Devils Sweep the Deck Gala” benefit the Devils Care Foundation, a non-profit organization established by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment’s New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center in March 2005. Founded with the goal of harnessing the power of sports and entertainment to provide life-changing opportunities for our young people, the Devils Care Foundation seeks to positively impact youth who live and play in some of New Jersey’s most challenged neighborhoods.

Sixers Math Hoops

76ers Math Hoops is an exciting, fast-paced, basketball-themed board game and curriculum that teaches students fundamental life skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork and problem-solving while also fostering their math literacy and appreciation skills. Students have the opportunity to “draft” their favorite Sixers and other NBA and WNBA players while improving not only their math skills and understanding of statistics, but also their ability to collaborate more effectively with their peers.

Hockey is For Everyone

Hockey is for Everyone uses the game of hockey – and the League’s global influence – to drive positive social change and foster more inclusive communities. The New Jersey Devils aim to support any teammate, coach or fan who brings heart, energy and passion to the rink. We believe all hockey programs – from professionals to youth organizations – should provide a safe, positive and inclusive environment for players and families regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation and socio-economic status.

Give 82

Prudential Center, the New Jersey Devils and United Airlines are proud partners of our organizations “Give 82” community service platform. With community service being a core value of our respective organizations, our “Give 82” platform encourages employees to commit 82 hours of community service each year. In addition to employee giving, our organizations will continue to enhance the learning and play spaces for youth throughout Newark and the Garden State.
